International Shark Pond
Join us for Shark Pond, a Shark Tank-style international service project supporting aspiring entrepreneurs in Africa.
Participants have completed business-development classes designed to strengthen their ideas and improve their chances of success. They will pitch their businesses to a panel made up entirely of members of our club, who will ask questions and help select the winner.
The winning entrepreneur will receive a $1,000 micro-loan to help launch or grow their business. Once repaid, the funds return to the Rotary Club in Africa to support future training and additional entrepreneurs, creating a sustainable cycle of opportunity.
Shark Pond will take place from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM in place of our regular meeting, followed by lunch together afterward.
