Join the Rotary Club of South Florida Business Leaders on October 18 for a hands-on service project with Friendship Circle. We are looking for 10–15 volunteers (minimum 13 years old) to participate in Pat's Culinary Club, a program that brings volunteers together with individuals with special needs for a fun and interactive cooking experience.
During the event, our volunteers will work alongside participants as they prepare a meal together. More than just a cooking class, the program is designed to help participants develop culinary and life skills, build confidence, socialize, and form meaningful connections with their peers and volunteers.
Friendship Circle creates programs and experiences that help individuals with special needs feel included, supported, and connected to their community, and Pat's Culinary Club gives us an opportunity to be directly involved in that mission.
Space is limited to 10–15 volunteers, so please register if you'd like to join us for this rewarding afternoon of service.

Rotarians from across District 6990 are invited to come together for a major Thanksgiving Day service project at Hard Rock Stadium in partnership with Feeding South Florida.
This large-scale community effort will bring together approximately 800 volunteers to help provide Thanksgiving meals and support to individuals and families in need throughout South Florida. Our goal is to have at least 250 Rotarians participate, creating a powerful show of service, unity, and community impact.
Volunteers will work together directly on the field at Hard Rock Stadium, assisting with meal preparation, organization, distribution, and other activities needed to serve the community. Specific volunteer assignments and additional event instructions will be provided as the event approaches.
In addition to making a meaningful difference on Thanksgiving Day, this project offers an important opportunity to bring Rotary clubs together from throughout the district and demonstrate what Service Above Self looks like in action. With hundreds of volunteers participating and potential media coverage surrounding the event, it will also provide valuable visibility for Rotary and its commitment to serving South Florida.
Rotarians, family members, friends, and community volunteers are encouraged to participate. Clubs may register individually or organize groups to serve together.
