Shana Cooper is the head of public affairs at Children’s Services Council of Palm Beach County, where she’s worked for 20 years. As an experienced communicator, she develops brand and content strategy for this local government to strengthen its organizational voice. She’s also the lead liaison with the community, building meaningful relationships with media, partners, providers and residents.
Prior to working at CSC, Shana was an award-winning journalist covering health, social services and breaking news for the South Florida Sun-Sentinel. Born and raised in New York, Shana is a graduate of Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism and earned a master’s degree in strategic communications from Lynn University.
