A partner in the firm's Digital Media, Technology & Privacy Practice Group, Gary advises ad tech companies, advertising agencies, media providers, and other commercial entities on behavioral advertising, programmatic media buying, data collection and usage, and other emerging products and services. He is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) and serves as General Counsel to the Performance Marketing Association.
Before becoming an attorney, Gary brought a unique perspective to his practice as an Information Systems Analyst in the investment banking division of Merrill Lynch. He has been consistently recognized by Chambers USA and The Legal 500 as a leading lawyer in privacy and data security.
